Hello everyone! Spellbinder's Mirrored Arch Collection is gorgeous! This card features a couple of products; the beautiful Mirrored Arch Blooms Press Plate and an awesome new nesting die set with 16 dies, Mirrored Arch Labels. They were pulled together into a sweet, subtle shaker.
A panel of Pebble BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panels was positioned on the A2 registration lines with low tack tape on the platen of the BetterPress Letterpress System.
The floral plate from Mirrored Arch Blooms Press Plate was inked with a combination of colours from the BetterPress Ink Jet Set Tones; Taffy, Tiger and Cruise. The ink was applied diagonally and sone colour was slightly overlapped with the other. The platform was run through the die cutting machine.
A die from Mirrored Arch Labels was aligned to the label impression on the panel and die cut.
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4".
Vellum paper was pressed with BetterPress black ink and clear embossed. The vellum was mounted onto the back of the die cut opening using double sided tape. Liquid adhesive will cause the vellum to ripple.
A piece of sheet foam larger than panel was cut with the same label die. The die cut opening was aligned and adhered to the foam. Doubled sided tape was used around the window where the vellum was positioned and liquid adhesive on the rest. It was set aside to dry completely.
A confetti mixture of soft orange, yellow and pink was placed in the shaker window. A panel the same size as the shaker panel was adhered to the back.
After the panel was dry, it was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The same confetti used for the shaker material was used to accent the card. The confetti was finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
