Hello friends! I am excited to be participating in Alex Syberia Designs’ August Release. My cards feature some fun new products; Hog Happy Day Stamp & Die Sets, Andalusia Wildflowers Die Set and Postage Stamp Stencil & Postage Stamp Cover Die. Aren’t those hogs the cutest ever?! SPECIAL MENTION goes to the fairy pig🩷🩷🩷,
Hog Happy Day is such a sweet and whimsical set with its piggy illustrations and scripty sentiments. The images for all of cards were stamped with Memento Ink and Copic coloured. RV52, 000 and 0000 were used for the pigs and BG01 and 000 for the wings on the fairy pig. The pink tones were repeated on the elements for the Postage Stamp card and Y11 was used on the wand’s star. All of the pigs, elements and sentiments were cut with Hog Happy Day Die Set.
The tower of pigs is nestled in flowers created with the Andalusia Wildflowers Die Set. A combination of cream lilac, soft, pink and spring green card stock was used to create the floral design.
The pigs were adhered to an A2 sized card base with foam squares. The florals were mounted with either liquid glue or foam squares.
A Quickie Glue Pen was used to depress lots of tiny drops of glue that were coated with white glitter around the star of the wand.
The sentiment was stacked on foam die cuts.
Pastel rainbow confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew were used to embellish the card.
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard was applied to the wings and star, white Nuvo Drops were used for dot detail on the pigs’ cheeks and rumps.
The background for this card was die cut with Postage Stamp Cover Die.
Using the Postage Stamp Stencil, an ink blended background was created in each stamp using Pumice Stone, Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold and Tumbled Glass.
All of the elements were popped up with foam squares except for the sentiment and music notes.
Pastel rainbow confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew were used to embellish the card.
Distress Oxide Ink Squeezed Lemonade was applied to a circle stencil. The moon was masked with a circle of acetate that had low tack adhesive applied to it holding it in place. I used Pixie Spray.
Acrylic paint was applied to a Gelli Printing Plate with a brayer. Starting at the top of the plate, dark blue was followed by purple and fuchsia.
The panel was laid on top of the gelli plate and pressure applied with the brayer.
The panel was trimmed to 4“ x 5 1/4“ and mount it onto an A2 sized card base.
The fairy pig with her wand was popped up in the centre of the moon with foam squares. Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard was applied to the wings and star.
A spray of silver glitter stars, created using the Magic Stars die, were adhered with small dots of glue from a Quickie Glue Pen.
