Hello everyone! My cards feature Alex Syberia Designs' adorable stamp set, Smile and Wave. Isn't it adorable! Of course, I had to use all these sweet images! I have two different takes on this sweet stamp set with its coordinating dies … one clean and simple and the other, a slimline scene.
I began by stamping all of the images with a Copic friendly ink, Black Momento. The colouring was very straightforward and easy. I use just a few markers; R17, BG13, 07, W1, E15, Y17 and 100 (black). The sentiments were stamped with black Versafine Ink and clear embossed. The images, sentiments and black foam were cut with the coordinating dice. Both the images and the sentiments were stacked on the foam diecuts.
SLIMLINE SCENE
A panel of Bristol smooth cardstock sized 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" was ink blended with Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry.
The panel and the images were spattered with Dr. Ph Martens' Bleed Proof White.
A snowy hillside was free cut from white card stock and adhered to the ink blended panel.
Circle dies from a nesting die set was used to cut teal, lavender and pink card stock. The edges of the circles were brushed with Hero Arts Unicorn White ink.
After the circles were arranged on the panel, the foam-backed images and sentiments were attached.
The card was embellished with iridescent confetti and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
CLEAN AND SIMPLE
Post-it Note Tape was used to mask off the bottom of a panel measuring 3 3/4" x 5".
A blending brush was used to apply Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass
Black card stock, 4" x 5 1/4", was adhered to an A2 sized, top folding card base. The white panel was centred on the black one.
The foam-backed sentiment and images were attached.
The card was embellished with iridescent confetti and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
