BLOG HOP ORDER

Bonnie YOU ARE HERE!

  • The main stem from Mysterious Petals was die cut from dark plum card stock and black sheet foam. The card stock die cut was dotted with Tombow adhesive and left to dry. When dry, this adhesive is tacky and repositionable making the stacking on the foam die cut easy.

  • The layering elements were cut from a variety of colours; teals, fuschia, yellow, navy and plum.

  • The flowers were layered directly on the main stem.

  • Chevron Chic Cover Die was used to create a stencil from card stock. There is a stencil available but I did not have it on hand. Teal blue card stock was stencilled with white pigment ink. Using a blending tool, Pawsitively Saturated Inks Pansy and Aster were applied around the perimeter of the panel.

  • The panel was spattered with Distress Stain Tarnished Brass.

  • The panel was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4” and adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.

  • Mysterious Petals was adhered to the panel.

  • Friend Die is a two piece die set including script and shadow dies. I used just the scripty die to cut both gold card stock and black sheet foam The sentiment was stacked and adhered to the card front.

Wow! Using the dark blue card stock and then putting white chevrons on top certainly makes these flowers POP. What a genius idea using foam too. All in all one amazing card. Thank you for the inspiration. X X
