Hello friends! Altenew’s Painted Geranium Stencil Set is so special! This layering stencil set creates a work of art! I love all the details that give each bloom and leaf beautiful depth. It is a large flower that can be trimmed down for an A2 sized card or used full size on a 5 by 7” card or framed! Who would think something so beautiful could be quick and easy!
Painted Geranium was stencilled on oversized, white card stock, using mini and micro blending brushes.
The leaves and stems for both cards were coloured with inks from the Warm Gray Fresh Dye Inks set.
For one cart, the flowers were coloured with the gradient inks from Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Inks. The blooms for the other one we’re done up in Blushberry Bliss Fresh Dye Inks.
The geraniums and white sheet foam cut with the Add-On Die and stacked.
Dark gray card stock was trimmed to for 1/4 x 5 1/2” and embossed with the Raised Sentiments Embossing Folder. The panels were adhered to 82 sized, black card basis.
The geraniums were trimmed and it here to the card fronts.
The sweet sentiments are from the Pocket Sentiments stamp set. There are coordinating dies available. The sentiments were stamped with Versamark Ink On dark Day card stock and embossed in white. The sentiments and foam were cut with the coordinating dies, stacked and adhered to the base of each of the geraniums.
The cards were embellished with either Nature’s Wonders Enamel Dots Or Sugar Plums Enamel Dots.
