Oh my goodness, friends! Spellbinders’ Little Smiles Collection is so sweet and darling. These cards features the Bundle of Joy and Swinging Among The Stars die sets and the wonderful Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set. I love this collection!
These sweet baby cards were put together with Colorwheel Cardstock. For the stork card, Coral, Bellini and Breeze were used. Coral, Bellini, Indigo, Blush, Fog and Anchor were used for the other card. The sentiments from the Little Smiles Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set were pressed with black ink on BetterPress cardstock and cut with the coordinating die.
The shaped card base and the background were cut with Arch Labels & Tag Die Set. The indigo background was spattered with white, opaque paint. After the animals were assembled, one was attached to the star and the other to the basket. This card has a simple, swinging interactive element. The top of the strings that are attached to the basket have circle die cut opening. The basket was laid on the card and a small foam square placed in this opening. Foam squares were placed on the upper area of the back of the star and then it was positioned over the foam square holding the hanging basket. The card was finished off with small star die cuts.
This set includes a cloud edge die that was used to cut vellum paper. The clouds were wrapped around a blue panel measuring 3 3/4“ x 5“. The vellum was adhered with double sided tape on the back. The stork and baby were assembled and adhered to the card front with foam squares. The card was embellished with light blue, navy, and white confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
