A panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock was ink blended with Fresh Dye Inks Coral Berry, Dusty Pink and Strawberry.
The panel was spattered using a fan brush to apply Splatter White Opaque Watercolor.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The smaller of the two butterflies included in the BetterPress of the Month were pressed with Black BetterPress Ink on a BetterPress Porcelain Panel using the BetterPress System.
The three piece stencil set included as a bonus item in the Deluxe Caboodle Club was used to colour the butterfly. Working with a detailed blending brush, the same inks used on the background and Icy Lemonade were applied to the various markings on the butterfly. Some of the markings were blended with two colours.
Both the butterfly and white sheet foam were cut with the coordinating die.
The sentiment is from Vivid Script Sentiments . The shadow dies were used to cut white cardstock and the script lettering was cut from cardstock inked with Coral Berry. The shadow dies were also used to cut white sheet foam.
Vellum paper was cut with the large oval die included in the Stitching Die of the Month.
The vellum will float on the card front by sandwiching the panel between the butterfly and sentiment and the foam die cuts. To prevent the vellum from wrinkling, Tombow adhesive was applied to the back of the butterfly and sentiments, and to the top of the foam die cuts. The adhesive was left to dry until it was in its tacky state. I positioned the foam die cuts underneath the vellum and then aligned the butterfly and sentiment with the foam on top of the vellum.
Regular adhesive was applied to the back of the foam die cuts to adhere the panel to the card front.
The card was embellished with white enamel dots.
