Hello everyone! I have a sweet summertime card to warm you up or cool you down depending how you look at it! Spellbinders’ Day 21 in the Crafty Advent Calendar is a fabulous ice pop die set with some really cute details! I had to make multiple flavours! This card can be either portrait or landscape oriented.

Be sure to check out the VIDEO TUTORIAL!

  • Each ice pop was die cut from two shades of each color. They were assembled and the popsicle stick finished off with a little bow that I found in the Holiday Haul die set.

  • A panel of white cardstock, 3 1/4“ x 8 1/2“, was embossed with the Arches & Dots Embossing Folder. When the panel was placed inside the embossing folder, one of the long sides was overhanging it by about a quarter of an inch. This would leave a smooth area to adhere the sentiment to.

  • The embossed panel was adhered to white foam and then mounted onto a card base measuring 3 3/4” by 8 1/2 “.

  • The sentiment, from Colourful Expressions Sentiments, was cut from black cardstock and adhered to the side of the embossed panel that was smooth.

  • The foam-backed panel is a quarter of an inch narrower than the card base. It was it here to the right hand side.

  • The embossed design incorporates a small dot detail. Four colours of confetti were adhered to each one. For each row of dots, the colours were alternated.

  • The ice pops were adhered at a slight angle with foam squares.
