Hello everyone! Spellbinder's Day 12 from the Crafty Advent Calendar is a beautiful strawberry die set. I have combined it with a banner sentiment from Day 11 for a sweet 'thinking of you' card. I dug out my Gel Printing Plate to create a pretty background for this one! It has been awhile ... I am once again addicted! So much fun to play with!

Pawsitively Saturated Inks were used in this project. To create the background, Sprout was applied to a Gel Printing Plate using a Brayer.
Pearlicious, a slightly darker green, was applied to the top and bottom of the gel plate with a Paper Pouncer.
Using a fan brush, clean water was lightly spattered onto the plate.
A Bristol Smooth card stock panel was laid on the gel plate and rubbed.
The panel was spattered with Dr. PH Martin's Bleedproof White with a fan brush.
The strawberries were cut from dark red card stock, the blossoms from ivory and the leaves from mint.
To give the die cuts some depth, white pigment ink was applied around the edges of the strawberries with a blending tool. Pearlicious was added to the edges of the leaves and the flower centres. They were assembled.
The elements of the arrangement were adhered with either liquid adhesive or foam squares.
The banner sentiment from Day 11 was cut from ivory card stock and adhered to the card front.
The card front was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The card was embellished with mint half pearls.
