CRAFTY MERAKI’S ANNIVERSARY RELEASE featuring ARTISAN FLORA DIES SUCCULENTS

Hello friends! Crafty Meraki is celebrating its 4th anniversary this month and we're throwing a huge party with our a fantastic #Merakiversary Release! There will be several hops on different social media and, of course, great giveaways! My cards feature the gorgeous Artisan Floral Dies Succulents on a background using Marrakech Mosaic Hot Foil Plate The background has not been foiled but rather letterpressed with the BetterPress Letterpress System. I used the double-weight BetterPress paper and the dimension is incredible! Love it when products can be stretched and used in different ways!

  • The succulents were painted with Mijello Mission Gold water colours. For the blue card, a range of blues, teal, purple and a touch of pink was used. The plants for the other card were coloured using earth tones; amber, browns, orange and peach.

  • The sentiment for both cards was created with Meraki Moments Hugs. For the blue card, the script was cut from gold card stock and foam and stacked. The letters were adhered to teal card stock cut with the small shadow die.

  • For the earth tone card, the script was cut from dark brown card stock. The small shadow die was used to cut amber paper and the large one from peach. Both shadow were stacked on foam die cuts.

  • A die from the Terrarium Add-On was repurposed to created a dish for the blue tone succulents. It was cut from BetterPress paper and pressed using Marrakech Mosaic Hot Foil Plate without ink for a subtle pattern. The dish was painted with Crystal Glaze and, when dry, adhered to a foam die cut.

  • To assemble the card, the succulents were adhered with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares.

  • The blue card was embellished with teal confetti and the earth tone one with peach.
