Hello friends! Crafty Meraki has a mini release of Effortless Shimmer Papers. There are five new paper packs! My projects feature Luminous Leaves and Floral Filigree! Gorgeous designs! Be sure to check out Cupid's Canvas, Party Prism and Arabesque. Each one consists of four different designs and 24 sheets. That's a lot of gorgeous backgrounds created quickly and easily using a heat transfer process.
LUMINOUS LEAVES ... Beautiful Tags!
A full sheet from Luminous Leaves Effortless Shimmer Paper was foiled with Deco Foil Rainbow. The paper, with its design facing upwards, was covered with the foil shiny side up and fed through a laminator.
The tag die from Birthday Slimline Tag was used cut two tags from the foiled paper and pink and coral card stock. The tags were stacked.
Canopy Leaf Meraki Para-Dies has two sizes off leafy dies. Both were used for each tag; one pair cut from mint card stock and the other from teal. The dies were also used to cut coral and pink card stock. The berries were trimmed off and layered onto the green die cuts.
The leafy branches were adhered with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam squares.
The sentiment from Love Slimline Tag was cut from the same card stock as the berries and white sheet foam. The 'hugs' die cut was modified by trimming off the ampersand. The stacked sentiments were adhered to the bottom of the tags.
Coral and pink pearls were used to embellish the tags and the berries were finished off with Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard.
FLORAL FILIGREE ... Eclipse Design!
Each sheet of the Shimmer Papers will create two A2 sized panels. A half sheet was ink blended with Distress Oxide inks Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough.
The panel was foiled with Deco Foil Bronze.
The 'birthday' die from Birthday Slimline Tag was used to cut both the centre of the panel and black sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked.
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
The stacked sentiment was inlaid on the card front and a secondary sentiment also from the Birthday Slimline Tag die set was cut three times from black card stock and stacked. It was adhered to the bottom of the 'birthday' die cut.
Tiny green crystals embellish the curly ends of the tendrils. You definitely want to use Crafty Meraki's Bling Buddy for this job!
LUMINOUS LEAVES ... Two for One!
A half sheet from Luminous Leaves Effortless Shimmer Paper was foiled with Deco Foil Rainbow and trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4".
White card stock was die cut with Plaid Background A2.
The two panels were aligned and cut with a circle die at the same time. This die and the next smaller one in the nesting die set were taped together to cut black circle frames.
The background panels, one foiled and the other plaid, were adhered to A2 sized card bases.
The circle die cuts were interchanged and inset in the die cut openings on each background. The black circle frames were then adhered.
Black card stock was cut with the largest die from Fern Leaf Meraki Para-Dies and adhered to the card front.
The sentiment from Birthday Slimline Tag was cut from blue and pink card stock as well as black sheet foam. The words were stacked and adhered to the card fronts.
The cards were embellished with pink and blue pearls to coordinate with the sentiment.
