Hello friends! I have another card featuring the Bachelor Button die set and the Wildly Beautiful 3D Embossing Folder from Spellbinders’ Through The Meadow Collection. This is a gorgeous collection! A panel of white cardstock was ink blended with Pawsitively Saturated Inks Aster, Pansy and Butter.
The panel was embossed with the Wildly Beautiful 3D Embossing Folder. When positioning the panel in the folder, the large flowers were placed over the yellow inked area.
The panel was adhered to a black, A2 size card base.
Small detail blending brushes were used to apply darker shades of yellows, Honey and Zest, to the flowers and Aster to the trellis background.
Astor was applied to both the front and the back of Susan’s Specialty Cardstock and cut with the floral dies from Bachelor Button. Before shaping the die cuts, white pigment ink was added to the tips of the petals. These flowers were easily shaped and assembled.
The panel with the flowers were spattered with with fold from the Yasutomo Water Colour Mixing Set.
Gilt Trip Prills were added to the centres of the embossed flowers as well as the bachelor buttons.
The leaves were coated with purple ink and embossed in gold on the tips
The sentiment from French Sentiments BetterPress Plates & Die Set was letterpressed with black ink on cardstock coloured with Pansy ink. The sentiment was cut with the coordinating die.
The flowers and leaves were adhered to the card, and the sentiment banner was mounted with black foam squares.
The card was embellished using Satin Gold Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
