My cards feature the amazing Chrysanthemum Stamp Set . I simply can't say enough about this layering stamp set! The bloom is large and so realistic. As I stamped each of the four layers, it was magical how this gorgeous chrysanthemum came to life! I was totally WOWed!

LIGHT & AIRY

  • Chrysanthemum Stamp Set is easy to use! The packaging provides illustrated instructions and the stamps are labelled. The order in which to stamp the layers and a clear indication how to line them up is provided.

  • The four layered chrysanthemums were stamped from lightest to darkest in two colour ways using Distress Oxide Inks for the first three layers ; Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry for two blooms and Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold and Ripe Persimmon for the single.

  • The fourth layer for all three flowers was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.

  • Seven leaves were stamped with Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn.

  • The images were cut with Chrysanthemum Die Set.

  • White card stock was cut with Floral Lattice Cover Die and adhered to a landscape, A2 sized card base.

  • The flowers and leaves were adhered to the card front. The pink chrysanthemums were popped up with foam squares. The overhanging flowers and leaves were trimmed off.

RICH & BOLD

  • The four layered chrysanthemums were stamped from lightest to darkest in two colour ways using Distress Oxide Inks; Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord and Versafine Black Ink were used to create two flowers. Two more flowers were stamped with Speckled Egg, Faded Jeans, Villainous Potion and Black Versafine Ink.

  • Six leaves were stamped with Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn.

  • The images were cut with Chrysanthemum Die Set.

  • To create the trifold card base, two A2 sized, black, side folding and bases were adhered together. The two trifold panels were then trimmed to 2 1/2".

  • To adhere the flowers and leaves, I worked back and forth between the two trifold panels and the inside of the card. Two flowers were adhered to the front of the card and one each on both the inside trifold panel and the inside of the card.

  • The Chrysanthemum Die Set was used to cut black card stock. These die cuts were adhered to the back of three chrysanthemums and one leaf that were overhanging the front and inside trifold panels.
