Hello everyone! Welcome back to another MAKE IT AGAIN MONDAY; a bi-weekly Blog and YouTube post. These posts are my way of sharing current and available products and techniques with you that I love! Alex Syberia Designs' Life Is Good Stamp Set was released only a month or so ago. I created a card using the coordinating stencils but just had to paint it .... the easy way with water brush markers!
Life Is Good Stamp Set was stamped with Versamark ink on Bristol Smooth card stock and embossed with gold embossing powder. I chose Bristol Smooth because it can withstand moisture for the next step!
The image was coloured with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers using 084, 062, 025, 400, 050 & 038. If you are interested in the colour names, here is a link to the chart ... which may be a useful reference for other projects!
The flower edges were highlighted and then the panel spattered with watered down white gouache.
The coordinating die was used to cut the flower spray.
A panel of white card stock was stencilled with Picket Fence Studios' Paper Glaze Arctic Fox using Alex Syberia Designs Modern Stripes Stencil. When dry, the panel was trimmed down to 3 3/4" by 5".
The panel was mounted on an A2 sized white card base matted with gold foil card stock measuring 4" by 5 1/4".
The sentiment was stamped with black Versafine ink and clear embossed The coordinating die was used to cut the sentiment and three additional cuts of white card stock. The sentiment was stacked and adhered to the flower spray.
The Life Is Good coordinating die was used to cut white from. The spray was mounted on the foam die cut and adhered to the card. Some light weight was placed on the spray to ensure good contact with the stencilled surface until the adhesive was set.
The card was embellished with lots of Studio Katia's Crystal Clear confetti. This confetti is iridescent ... gorgeous! To give it a jewel-like appearance, it was finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
