Masculine Cards featuring Spellbinder’s Everyday Foliage from Simon Hurley’s Tulip Garden Collection

Hello friends! Whenever I come across a product like Spellbinder's Everyday Foliage, I think it is high time I made some cards that are suitable for our male friends and family members. I have to admit to neglecting them lately but not today! I have three cards that are easily pulled together for different occasions.

  • Dark blue card stock were cut to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2".

  • Cream card stock was cut with a die from the Mirrored Arch Labels die set,

  • The cream arch label was centred on the dark blue panels and embossed at the same time with the new Luxe Backdrop & Border. This will ensure the pattern will be continuous between the two panels.

  • Black sheet foam was cut with the next smaller die from the Mirrored Arch Labels die set. The cream panel was adhered to it. Foam will sometimes stretch as it goes through the die cutter. Using the smaller die will ensure the foam will not show while still providing lots of support for the panel.

  • The dark blue panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The foam-backed cream panel adhered to the dark blue one aligning the embossed lines ... easy because there will be an outline of the arched label created when the two panels were embossed together.

  • Everyday Foliage Dies consists of three gorgeous silhouettes. They are a good size making them perfect to stand alone on a card or be grouped. The dies were used to cut dark blue card stock and black foam. They were stacked.

  • Sentiments were selected from the Everyday Sentiments die set. The shadow dies were used to cut both dark blue card stock and black foam. They were stacked and the cream card stock script was adhered.

  • The foliage and sentiments were arranged and adhered to the card fronts.

  • The cards were embellished with dark blue confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
