Hello everyone! I am back with another all die cut PIE card with Spellbinders‘ Perfect Pies . There is nothing better than having a picnic on a warm, sunny day with family or friends or is there? Of course there is … when someone brings a delicious lemon meringue pie! The Perfect Pies die set is so adorable and easy to use! I wish it was this easy to make the real McCoy!
The elements to construct the pie were doe cut from Bristol Smooth card stock. The colouring was quick and easy using Distress Oxide inks and blending brushes.

pie plate - Candied Apple
pie filling - Squeezed Lemonade
meringue - Antique Linen just on the top edge
The pie crust was coated with Nuvo Crystal Glaze and sprinkled with chunky glitter. After the pie was assembled, it was mounted on a foam pie plate die cut.
A number of cute elements were die cut from Delicious Decorations also
from Bristol Smooth card stock. The flowers, leaves and slices of lemon were inked up again using Distress oxide inks and a blending brush.

leaves - Twisted Citron
lemons - Squeezed Lemonade, Antique Linen
The A2 card base was matted with yellow-green card stock. Green cardstock was cut to 4” by 5 1/4” and the edges die cut with a grassy edging die from an older set called Spring Together with Lever Pull. This panel was mounted on foam and adhered askew to the matted card base. The plaid patterned paper was cut wth a rectangle die from Spellbinders’ A2 Matting Basics B and adhered at an angle. After the elements were assembled on the card, confetti topped with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew finished the card.
