Hello everyone! This Christmas card has lots of pretty details and is easy to create .... perfect! I love it when a card comes to together without a lot of fuss and has a beautiful result! It features a number of new products from Picket Fence Studio's October Release; the gorgeous Welcome Winter Wreath , Joy Word Die and Snowball Fight 6 x 6 Stencil.
Welcome Winter Wreath was stamped with Versamark ink on Bristol Smooth card stock and embossed with gold embossing powder. I chose Bristol Smooth because it can withstand moisture for the next step!
The holly leaves were coloured with Zig Real Brush Clean Colour markers for a faux water colour look using Peacock Blue, Marine Green, Light Green and Grey Green. Colour was applied to the base of the leaf and a water colour brush with just a touch of water was used to pull it to the tip creating a gradient. The berries were coloured with Pink and Wine Red.
The wreath with was cut wth the coordinating die and mounted on foam.
A panel of black card stock measuring 4" by 5 1/4" was stencilled with Blackboard Paper Velvet Glaze using Snowball Fight 6 x 6 Stencil for a subtle, tone-on-tone background.
When dry, the panel was mounted on an A2 sized, black card base matted with gold foil card stock.
Joy Word Die was cut from gold foil card stock, mounted on a foam die cut and adhered to the centre of the wreath.
Paper Glitz Sparkle was applied to the berries with a small media paint brush.
The wreath was embellished gold sequins from A Classic Christmas Sequin Mix.
