Hello everyone! Well it is release day at Simon Says Stamp and I am in love with this red rubber background stamp!!! Angularium by CZ Designs is so much fun! WARNING! This stamp is addictive! I have a few backgrounds that I need to make into cards! So awesome!
An ink blended background was created on Bristol Smooth card stock with blender brushes and Pawsitively Saturated Ink Trio 6 (Bubblegum, Sweets & Taffy).
The Angularium stamp was placed in a Misti with the insert removed. It can sometimes be difficult to get a good impression close to the raised Misti edges. Some runner tape adhesive was placed on the back of the inked panel so it could be securely positioned away from the edges.
Angularium was stamped with black Versafine ink. There is a a lot of surface to ink so I used a pressure tool to rub the Misti door. I stamped the image four times to get good ink coverage.
The panel was cut with the 2nd largest die in Stitched Rectangles.
This panel was then cut again with the 3rd smallest die in A2 Thin Frames. The resulting frame was adhered to Doll Pink Card Stock measuring 4" by 5 1/4". The small rectangle was mounted on black sheet foam and adhered to the centre of the frame opening.
The card front was mounted on a Black Card Stock, A2 sized, top folding card base.
I love the fun sentiment set Happy Days with its coordinating dies. HAPPY was stamped on a bright yellow card stock. Both sentiment and black sheet foam were die cut. HAPPY was stacked and adhered to the small raised rectangle.
The stars from Large Holiday Shapes were die cut from yellow card stock and black foam and stacked.
The card was embellished with Studio Katia Lemon Burst Pearls.
