Hello friends! Spellbinder's BetterPress of The Month, Post Edge Expression, is a gorgeous press plate set that consists of the handwritten note, postage edge border, and three sentiments. These plates not only press beautifully, but also can be foiled with equally impressive results!
The April "New Subscriber" registration window will be open April 6th to the 27th. Sign up in April and receive the current design.

For the card below, both the script and postage edge border plates were positioned on the Glimmer Hot Foil System. Indigo cardstock was foiled with Gold Hot Foil.
The panel was trimmed on a paper trimmer along the flat edges of the postage edge border. The curved half circles on the border were fussy cut.
The panel was mounted on black sheet foam before adhering it to an A2 sized card base that was covered with a panel of Blush cardstock.

The sentiment was foiled on indigo cardstock. Both the sentiment and foam were cut with the coordinating die and stacked.
The beautiful tulips are from the Small Die of the Month. The two piece layered flowerhead was cut from Blush card stock and the stems and leaves from both vellum and gold foil.
The arrangement was adhered together and then mounted to the card front with foam squares.

A BetterPress Porcelain A2 Panel was letterpressed with Garnet BetterPress Ink.
The panel and foam were cut with an outline die included in the Large Die of the Month. The panel was stacked and adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
A floating heart was created to sit on the script note. Using a die from the Essential Hearts, vellum paper was cut.
The floral stem from the Large Die of the Month was cut from both coloured cardstock and foam. The heart was sandwiched between the foam and cardstock floral to create a floating design. Because liquid adhesive will cause the vellum to wrinkle, Tombow adhesive was applied to the back of the cardstock floral and to the front of the foam die cut. The adhesive was left to dry until it was in its tacky state. The heart was adhered on top of the foam and then aligned the cardstock die cut on top of the heart. The translucency of the vellum makes this easy to do.
The arrangement on the heart was finished off with a pink (Tutu) key and Aura Opalescent Sequins topped with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
