Hello friends! I love creating a background with an embossing folder! Spellbinder's Embossing Folder of the Month, Arches and Dots, is beautiful on its own or with the details highlighted as I have done. Either way, this makes for a quick and easy card,
The August "New Subscriber" registration window will be available August 6 - 27th while supplies last.
Teal card stock was embossed with Arches and Dots. A white pigment ink pad was rubbed over the panel catching the embossed high points. I applied the ink a couple of times. As the ink dries, it will fade.
The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and mounted on sheet foam. I placed the panel under some weight while the adhesive was drying so there was good contact between the two.
The foam backed panel was adhered to a teal matted, A2 sized, top folding card base.
The sentiment die from the Stitching Die of the Month was cut four times and stacked. It was adhered to the card.
A sentiment from Birthday Unboxing Glimmer was foiled in gold on teal card stock. The sentiment strip die included in the set was used to cut both the sentiment and foam. It was stacked and adhered to the card.
The dot details on the embossed background were highlighted with half pearls.
