Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Fair Wnds Collection is gorgeous! I grew up by the ocean and miss sitting on the rocks, breathing in the salty sea air and watching the incredible sunsets. When I saw this collection, I was swept back in time! So here we go with the Uncharted Waters six piece stencil set and the sweet Oh, Buoy die set.
I started with a panel of Bristol Smooth Card Stock bigger than A2 size to stencil with Uncharted Waters Stencil Set. Distress Oxide Inks will be applied with blending brushes.
Stencil 1: Pumice Stone, Shaded Lilac, Weathered Wood
Stencil 2: Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass
Stencil 3: Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Salvaged Patina
Stencil 4: Kitsch Flamingo, Chipped Sapphire, Hickory Smoke
Stencil 5: Shade Lilac, Chipped Sapphire
Stencil 6: Faded Jeans, Pigment White Ink
The panel was cut with a die from Essential Stylish Ovals. The next smallest die was used to cut foam that was adhered to the back of the panel. The next largest die was used to cut black card stock. The foam backed panel was adhered to the black oval and mounted onto an A2 sized card base.
The sentiment from Fresh Picked Sentiments was cut from plum card stock and adhered to the card front.
The seagull and post from Oh, Buoy were cut from coloured card stock and depth added with inks. The layering di cuts were enhanced with Walnut Stain, Hickory Smoke, Pumice Stone and Shaded lilac.
The die cuts were assembled and adhered to the card with small foam squares.
The card was embellished with SmokyTopaz Color Essential Gems.
