Hello crafty friends! Today's cards feature Spellbinder's Fresh Picked Daffodils from the gorgeous Fresh Picked Collection. These large blooms are designed to fill an A2 sized panel ... aren't they fabulous! I love the stylized, art deco design!
Panels measuring 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" of dark coral and navy blue card stock were embossed with Efflorescent Flora, the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month for January.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The florals were cut from mint, cream, yellow and light coral card stock for one card and two shades of yellow and green for the other. For the coral background card, the leaves and flowers were also cut from black card stock. These large die cuts were stacked slightly offset to create a black shadow line.
The details of the flowers were adhered to the petal die cuts.
The leaves were adhered to the card front first taking the flat side of some of the leaves right to the panel's edge. The daffodil heads were then positioned and adhered to the card front.
The sentiments from Fresh Picked Sentiments were cut from both dark coral and yellow card stock and black sheet foam, stacked and adhered across the base of the leaves.
