Hello everyone! Spellbinders’ Clubs for the month of July are all about getting a head start on Christmas preparations! I love making Christmas cards! It is my favourite time of year and, in my opinion, getting ready for the season is as much fun as the day itself! The Glimmer of the Month, Joyful Holly, is gorgeous with its large holly branch and beautiful sentiment. I have used in conjunction with the Embossing Folder of the Month and the BONUS STENCIL included with the The Deluxe Caboodle Club.
The July registration window for this club will be available July 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of July. Registrations can be completed until July 27th or while supplies last.
The holly a nd sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month were foiled using Spellbinder’s Hot Foil System with Matte Silver Glimmer Hot Foil.
The holly was coloured with the stencil set included as a BONUS item in The Deluxe Caboodle Club. Distress Oxide Inks Chipped Sapphire and Candied Apple were applied with small blending brushes .
Starting at the base of the leaves, Chipped Sapphire was applied lessening the pressure working toward the tip of the leaf.
The accompanying dies were used to cut the sentiments and the holly. The holly was also cut from Silver Glitter Card Stock. The holly branch was adhered to the glitter die cut off setting it.
The dies for the sentiments and holly were also used to cut black sheet foam and the die cuts adhered to them.
Black card stock sized 4 1/4” by 5 1/2” was embossed with the Embossing Folder of the Month and adhered to an A2, black card base.
The card was embellished with silver confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
