Spellbinder’s Glimmer of the Month for June

Hello everyone! Spellbinder's Glimmer of the Month, Summertime Sentiments, is fabulous. Both the main sentiment and several secondary sentiments are foiled in one go. The coordinating die cuts everything with one pass through the die cutter. So awesome! The little scene on today’s card has been set up on a floating vellum panel over a colourful , embossed panel using the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Summertime Citrus Twist.

The June registration window for this club will be available June 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of June. Registrations can be completed until June 27th or while supplies last.

  • An A2 sized panel of Bristol Smooth Card Stock was embossed with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. The citrus slices were coloured in orange, green and yellow with Zig Real Brush Markers. The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.

  • The sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month were hot foiled on cream card stock and cut with the coordinating die. The die was also used to cut foam.

  • Two chairs and the beach umbrella from the Large Die Of the Month were cut from cream card stock and accented with green and orange. The base dies for chair and umbrella were also used to cut sheet foam.

  • .After the chairs and umbrella were assembled, Tombow adhesive was applied to the back of these elements and the sentiments and left to dry.

  • Tombow adhesive was also applied to the front of all the foam die cuts and left to dry. When this adhesive dries, it is tacky and repositionable.

  • The elements and sentiments were then adhered to an A2 sized vellum panel and the the foam die cuts aligned to them on the other side. Regular adhesive was applied to the foam to float the vellum panel on the embossed card front.
