Hello everyone! I am here to bring a smile to your face! Isn't Spellbinder's Gnome Drive Collection so adorable!? I am featuring Gnome Drive Holiday and Gnome Drive Halloween. The Gnome Drive Holiday set comes with the car. This collection, besides Gnome Drive Halloween, also includes Gnome Drive Spring, Gnome Drive Hearts, and Gnome Drive Graduation . The other sets can be used in conjunction with Gnome Drive Holiday or on their own. So cute!
A die from the new nesting set, Notched Corner Frames, was used to cut Bristol Smooth Card Stock and sheet foam. I love this panel shape!
For the Christmas card, the bottom third of the panel was masked with Post It Note Tape. Distress Oxide Ink Tumbled Glass was applied starting at the horizon finishing off with Mermaid Lagoon. The panel was spattered with Dr. PH Martin's Bleed Proof White.
For the Halloween, the top two thirds of the card was ink blended, starting at the horizon, with Mowed Lawn, Shaded Lilac and Black Soot. The bottom of the card was inked with Black Soot.
The dies that make up the car from the Gnome Drive Holiday set were cut twice ... once in gold glitter, mirror gold and black, and the other done up in fun Halloween colours! The car is easily assembled as the body of the car has etched lines to easily identify where the details are to be added.
The gnomes and the the accessories were cut using, more or less, the same colours for the cars. The gnomes were assembled! Super cute!
The Notched Corner Frames panel was adhered to the sheet foam panel. For the Halloween card, the panel was adhered to a top folding, black card base. The panel for the Christmas card was adhered to a white card base.
The elements were arranged on the card fronts. For the Halloween card, the cat was adhered to the side of the gnome and attached to the card with foam squares. The car was adhered overlapping the bottom of this pair of cuties also with foam squares.
The two ghosts coming out of the car were adhered directly to the panel and the third one with the hat was attached with foam squares.
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard was added to the hat bands and the car lights
This card was finished up with a fun EEK sentiment. The letters were cut from green glitter card stock using just the die from Glimmer Alphabet.
For the Christmas card, I began with the sentiment strip so the car would sit on top of it! The sentiment from Mini Christmas Sentiment Strips Glimmer was foiled in gold on white card stock. The coordinating die was used to cut the sentiment and sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked and adhered at the bottom of the Notched Corner Frames panel.
Before arranging the elements, details were added. The tree was decorated with the star on top and small confetti topped with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew. The Morning Dew was also added to the hat dot detail. Nuvo Stone Drops was added to the pom pom on the hat and Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops to the present. Everything was set aside to dry for a few hours!
The tree was mounted directly to the panel. The present was adhered to the side of the gnome and adhered to the panel using foam squares. The car was adhered to the bottom of the gnome and sitting on the sentiment strip also with foam squares.
