Don't you just love House-Mouse?! The images are always so sweet and whimsical. Spellbinder's House Mouse Everyday Collection is definitely one to check out with its beautifully illustrated everyday moments. Today's card features Mouse Mail suitable for any time of the year or occasion. It's snowing here so my card reflects that!
Mouse Mail is a red rubber stamp. The stamp was inked with Black Versafine Ink and stamped on white card stock.
The card front was Copic coloured. I began with the teal background and applied several overlapping layers of BG18, 23, 13 and 15.
The outside of the mailbox was coloured red with R59 and 46. W5, 3 and 2 were used for the inside of the box and the flag. For the post, E 49, 47 and 43 were used.
The mice were coloured with E43 and given rosy cheeks with E93.
The leaves were coloured simply with BG13 and some shadowing was added to the letters with W2 and 0.
The panel was spattered with PH Martin's Bleedproof white slightly watered down using a fan brush.
It was trimmed to 3 3/4" by 5" and adhered to a black card base.
The card was finished off with Nuvo Stone Drops Chalk White to add snow-like texture to the top of the mailbox and flag.
