Spellbinder’s Kaleidoscope Arch Collection

Hello everyone! I have a sweet set of cards featuring Stitched Kaleidoscopic Arch Die Set and Kaleidoscope Arch Sentiments Stamp Set. These two products that I am featuring are super versatile and my card examples suggest just a few ways they can be configured. I love the pretty arched design of the both the die cuts and the fun stamped sentiments.

  • Two arched frames were cut from Stitched Kaleidoscopic Arch Die Set for all of the cards. Included in the die set are two curved edge dies that match the detail on the frame. For each frame, black card stock was cut two times and the edging was adhered to the back of the frame's edge. The second die cut is one diamond shape too long and that was just trimmed off.

  • The frames that were cut with the stitching detail die were stitched with either cream or soft pink metallic floss. The plain frame was stamped with the arched sentiments from the Kaleidoscope Arch Sentiments Stamp Set.

  • The two frames were adhered together by overlapping the rectangular area on the die cuts.

  • Ovals were cut using a die from Essential Stylish Ovals. The pink oval was embossed with the Meandering Floral Embossing Folder. The ovals were adhered to A2 sized, black card bases.

  • The cream card stock oval was stamped with Memento ink on the top and bottom with a floral bouquet stamp found in Kaleidoscope Arch Sentiments Stamp Set. One end was stamped and the oval flipped around in the Misti to stamp the second image.

  • The images were coloured simply with Copic markers. The leaves were coloured with YR31, the flowers with R30 and 83 and the berries with R32.

  • The banner sentiments were either die cut using the dies found in Stitched Kaleidoscopic Arch Die Set or stamped with a sentiment from the Kaleidoscope Arch Sentiments Stamp Set. The stamped sentiment was cut with the banner die. The banner die was also used to cut foam. The stacked sentiments were adhered to the centre of the frames.

  • The frames were adhered to the centre of the ovals on the card bases and two of the cards decorated with florals found in the die set.

  • All of the cards were embellished with pink pearls.
