Hello friends! You are going to fall in love with Spellbinder's Large Die Of the Month, Snowcapped Holidays! Such a gorgeous die set with a large birdhouse that fills up an A2 sized card and lots of supporting elements to make a beautiful card … Christmas or not! This set has lots of possibilities!
The July registration window for this club will be available July 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of July. Registrations can be completed until July 27th or while supplies last.
The dies to construct the birdhouse were used to cut two shades of teal, grey and white card stock. The roof die was also used to cut foam and it was stacked. The bird house was easily assembled.
The foliage and pine cones were cut from greens, burgundy, Kraft and white card stock. A grouping was created.
The two sweet birds were cut from grey and royal blue card stock with light blue toques. One bird was adhered to a foam backed perch and the other had a seed pod branch tucked in its beak.
An A2 sized panel of Indigo Card Stock and all of the elements were spattered with Spatter White Opague Water Color.
The panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base and the elements adhered to it. The bird on the foam backed perch was mounted to the birdhouse with foam squares.
A sentiment from BetterPress Plate of the Month was inked with Teal Topaz from the Tropical BetterPress Ink Set and pressed using the BetterPress Letterpress System.
The coordinating die was used to cut the sentiment and foam. It was stacked and adhered to the birdhouse.
