Hello friends! You are going to fall in love with Spellbinder's Large Die Of the Month, Summertime Vacay. What a sweet die set with those beach sling chairs, umbrella and fabulous waves … everything needed for a summertime card or congratulating those embarking on new adventures!
The June registration window for this club will be available June 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of June. Registrations can be completed until June 27th or while supplies last.
An A2 sized panel of Bristol Smooth Card Stock was masked with Post It Note Tape and the sea ink blended with Fresh Dye Inks Aqualicious, Teal Cave and Galactic Stream. The colours were blended together with white pigment ink.
The sky was inked with Blush and Aqualicious.
The island was cut from both card stock and foam. It was coloured with Blush and Mangrove Swamp and stacked on the foam.
The wave detail was cut twice from White Glitter Card Stock. The waves were adhered to the sea with the island between them.
The chair frames and umbrella pole were inked with Mangrove Swamp. The sling for the chairs and the umbrella base die cut was coloured with Ruby Red. Frosty Pink was used for the chair stripes and Frosty Pink and Coral Berry for the umbrella stripes.
The chairs and umbrella were adhered to the card front with a combination of foam squares and liquid adhesive.
The sentiment from the Glimmer of the Month was foiled in gold and cut with the coordinating die. The sentiment was mounted on a foam die cut.
