Hello friends! Spellbinder's Large Die of the Month, Picture Perfect Autumn, is ready to pull together to create a beautiful Fall scene with everything you might associate with this season. Autumn, next to Spring, is my favourite season of the year! I love the colourful landscape and cooling temperatures.
The September registration window for this club will be available September 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of September. Registrations can be completed until September 27th or while supplies last.
A panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock was ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Dried Marigold.
Soft yellow card stock was cut with one of the landscape dies included in the Large Die of the Month. Using a fan brush, yellow gouache was supplied to the panel in sweeping, vertical motions to give the feeling of a wheat field.
The Large Die of the Month includes many dies to create an autumn scene. I used the tree barn, one of the fences and the grouping of pumpkins.
After the die cut elements were assembled, the landscape was adhered to the ink blended panel. This panel was trimmed down to 4 x 5 1/4“.
The panel was mounted to a black matted, A2 sized card base.
The sentiment, also included in the diet, was cut from yellow card stock and adhered to the card front. The elements were then arranged on the card.
