Hello friends! This pair of cards features Propagation Garden Frames, Laboratory Glassware, Propagated Plants and Propagation Garden Sentiments. Spellbinder’s Propogation Garden is a beautifully unique and fun collection. For these cards, I incorporated some pretty patterned paper on the backgrounds; Paper Rose One of a Kind 6X6 Patterned Paper and Paper Rose Urban Garden 6X6 Patterned Paper.
The containers from Laboratory Glassware for both cards were cut from vellum paper. Because it is tranlucent and will ripple when liquid adhesive is applied to to, the vellum and the measurement die cuts for the beakers were adhered to Double Sided Adhesive Sheets.
When assembling. I adhered the measurement die cut to the front of the glassware followed by the plants and roots from the Propagated Plants die set on the back of the vellum.
To give the illusion of liquid in the beakers, sheet foam was cut and also attached to double sided adhesive on the back of the vellum beakers.
For the slim line card, white card stock and paper end paper from Paper Rose One of a Kind 6X6 Patterned Paper were cut with consecutive dies from the Postage Edge Slimlines.
They were stacked and adhered to a black card base measuring 3 3/4” by 8 3/4”.
The sentiment from Propogation Garden Sentiments was stamped on pattern paper and foam mounted.
The beakers were adhered to the card and for the two beakers that are ‘hanging’ the hardware from Propagation Garden Frames was cut from silver foil card stock and sheet foam and stacked. Tombow adhesive was applied to the middle of the back of the hardware and left to dry until it was in its tacky state.
The hardware was adhered to the beakers and trimmed flush to the card base.
For the A2 sized card, patterned paper from Paper Rose Urban Garden 6X6 Patterned Paper was trimmed to 4” by 5 1/4” and adhered to a fuschia matted, black card base.
The vellum beaker for this card was stamped with the bubbles and the measurement guide included in the Propogation Garden Sentiments stamp set using Pawsitively Saturated Ink Peony.
The main sentiment was also stamped with Peony ink directly on the card front and the secondary sentiment on patterned paper that was adhered to the bottom of the card.
The foam backed beaker was adhered and the card embellished with pink confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
