Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Stencil of the Month, Nature’s Canvas, is a 5 piece, layering stencil set. I am sorry to let you know it has sold out! Hardly a surprise! It is GORGEOUS! For those of you who managed to snag this set, I hope this card provides some inspiration.

White cardstock was positioned on a sticky mat. The stencilling was completed with Pawsitively Saturated Inks using detail blending brushes.
To create a more natural appearance, the inks were applied with varying pressure.
Stencils 1 and 2 create the foliage. For stencil 1, the midtown green, Fairway, was applied.
A lighter green, Sprout, was used for stencil 2.
Stencils three and four create the flowers. To create some variation, two colours of ink were used for each stencil. Four stencil 3, Peachy was applied followed by a touch of Lemonade in the flower centres.
The second set of flowers created with stencil for were coloured with a combination of Guava and Blush.
The final stencil adds details to both the foliage and the flowers. Field, a dark green was used for the foliage and Pucker for flowers.
The panel was spattered with Splatter White Opaque Watercolor and then trimmed to 4” x 5 1/4” and adhered to a black, A2 sized card base.
The sentiment included in the Large Die of the Month Was cut from both white card stock and white sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked and adhered to the card front.
The flower centres and edges of some of the leaves were embellished with Ribbit Prills.
The card was finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Simply White.
