Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Stencil of the Month, Nature’s Frame is a gorgeous 5 piece stencil set. I just love it! I think it is now my ‘all time favourite’ stencil set! The delicate scallop oval die from the Stitching Die of the Month works perfectly to create a pretty window framed by this floral design.
The registration window for this club will be available January 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of January . Registrations can be completed until January 27th or while supplies last.
Cream cardstock was stencilled using small blending brushes. The following Distess Oxide Inks were applied; Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, shaded Lilac, Black Soot and Rustic Wilderness.
The panel was trimmed to 4” x 5 1/4” and and cut with the smaller scalloped oval die from the Stitching Die of the Month. Black sheet foam was cut larger than the panel and also cut with this oval die.
The panel was adhered to the phone, ensuring that the scallops were aligned. The access foam was trimmed off.
The phone back panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.
The two banner sentiments found in the Stitching Die of the Month were cut from cream cardstock and adhered to the inside of the top and bottom of the oval window.
The flower and leaves are from the Large Die of the Month. They were cut from cream card stock and colour was added using Picked Raspberry and Rustic Wilderness. The flower centre was given some pretty detail with gold prills. When the centre was dry, the flower was adhered in the centre of the oval.
The card was embellished with Satin Gold Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
