Spellbinder’s Stencil of the Month for March

Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Stencil of the Month, Mosaic & Quilted Memories, is a five piece stencil set that includes two beautiful designs. One design is created from two stencils while the second one with three. These cards also feature the Large Die of the Month and a new favourite of mine, French Everyday Sentiments Die Set.

A panel of white and one of Chiffon cardstock measuring 4“ x 5 1/4“ were stencilled with the Stencil of the Month. The pink panel using Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy and Picked Raspberry for the pink card,
The orange card was stencilled with Pawsitively Saturated Inks Butter, Peachy and Grapefruit.
The two piece arch dies included in the Large Die of the Month were used to cut the stencilled panels and also to cut frames from Colorwheel Cardstock Chiffon and Bellini. Foam was also cut using the arch die and the stencilled panel mounted on top of it. It was adhered to an A2 sized card base. The stencilled arch die cut and the solid coloured frame were inset into the arch opening of the foam backed panel.
The flowers included in the Large Die of the Month were also cut from Colorwheel Cardstock Chiffon and Bellini and vellum. Tombow adhesive, in its dry, tacky state, was used to layer the vellum onto the cardstock die cuts. .
The French Everyday Sentiments Die Set has six words to create a variety of sentiments. The sentiments selected for these cards were mounted on foam die cuts.
The cards were embellished with confetti and finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
