Hello friends! I have a pair of cards from the Timeless Collection featuring Timeless Duo Dies and New Beginnings Timeless Sentiments press plates on pretty shaped cards created with Mirrored Arch Labels. The decorative dies have a Victorian vibe that works well with Paper Rose’s Urban Garden Patterned Paper.
The card base was cut from white card stock using the largest die from Mirrored Arch Labels. The card stock was first cut and folded into a slightly larger version of an A2 sized, top folding card base. The die was positioned so that the top cutting edge was overhanging the crease of the card base and run through the die cutter.
The same die was used to cut a panel from the Paper Rose Urban Garden 6X6 Patterned Paper. The panel was adhered to the card base.
A smaller die from Mirrored Arch Labels was used to cut pink and red card stock. New Beginnings Timeless Sentiments were pressed on these panels with black BetterPress ink using the BetterPress Letterpress System. These panels were adhered to foam die cuts before being mounted on the card bases.
Timeless Duo Dies consists of two decorative designs. Each design was cut two times from Gold Glitter Card Stock and black sheet foam. To stack these intricate die cuts, I found it easiest to use Tombow adhesive. After it was applied, the adhesive was allowed to dry until it was tacky giving lots of flexibility aligning the die cuts.
The stacked decorative elements were adhered to the small panels.
A small floral arrangement using dies from Fresh Picked Vase Bouquet was added below the sentiment.
The cards were finished off with aura confetti topped off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
