Hello friends! I am a big fan of beautiful sentiment die sets! Spellbinders’ Four Seasons Die Set covers all of the seasons as the name suggests. These large scripty words are accompanied by shadow dies. The All Seasons Exclusive Collection also includes four different press plate sentiment & die sets to coordinate with each of the seasons. All of the sentiments are letterpressed and then die cut in one fell swoop! My card is all about my favourite season of the year, Autumn, and features All Seasons Sentiments Autumn Press Plate & Die Set. This is a great collection!
Water colour paper was spritzed with Distress Stain; Mowed Lawn, Candied Apple, Fossilized Amber, Speckled Egg and Rusty Hinge. I made sure that I started with a piece that would be large enough to cut the panel and also the sentiments from.
A panel was trimmed to 2 1/2” by 7 1/2” and embossed with the Cascading Leaves & Stripes Embossing Folder.
The scripty sentiment die from the Four Seasons Die Set was used to cut both the stained paper and black sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked.
The panel and sentiment were spattered with Distress Stain Tarnished Brass using a fan brush.
The stacked sentiment was adhered to a black shadow die cut.
The sentiments from the All Seasons Sentiments Autumn Press Plate & Die Set were pressed with black ink using the BetterPress System on the stained watercolour paper. Both the sentiments and black sheet foam were cut with the coordinating die. The sentiment chosen for this card was stacked.
The panel was adhered to a 3 1/4” by 8 1/4” black card based that was layered with both gold glitter and black card stock.
The stacked sentiments were adhered and the card was embellished with gold confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
