Spellbinders’ Bougie Birthday By Nina Boettcher Collection

Hello friends! So what kind of cards do you need/make the most of? For me, it would be a close race between Christmas and birthdays. I love Spellbinders’ Bougie Birthday Collection … cake, macarons and gems! It just doesn’t get any better than that! Today’s project features   and the Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder. Both are decorated with the French macaron found in the cake die set … my favourite cookie!

  • The cake from Stylized Trellis was embossed with the Stylized Trellis 3D embossing folder. The high points were inked with Distress Oxide Spun Sugar.

  • This die was also used to cut white sheet foam, and the cake was stacked.

  • Both the icing and the ganache pink die cuts were given additional depth using Spun Sugar. They were adhered to the cake.

  • Circle die cuts were adhered to the middle of the trellis openings. They were finished off with. Nuvo Dream Drops.

  • The cake was mounted on a cream, A2 sized card base and decorated with the macarons.

  • The sentiment from Bougie Birthday Sentiments  was letter pressed with black ink on cream cardstock. It was cut with the coordinating die and adhered to the cake.

  • Treat Yourself Gift Card Holder was cut from cream cardstock, folded on the score lines and the flap adhered just on the ends to the inside of the card. The pink panels were put in place.

  • The die cut sentiment included with this set was adhered to the plain pink panel. The pressed sentiment from the. Bougie Birthday Sentiments was mounted on the flap.

  • Both the card front and the inside were decorated with the ribbons and embellishments included in this set. The Macarons from Ganache Gateau were added to the card front.
