Hello everyone! Well it’s that time! Spellbinders’ Monthly Club Kits will soon be making their way to you. And look what is in store for the Clear Stamp and Coordinating Die for August; Perfect Floral Bloom. This set is comprised of beautiful solid flower and foliage images. It is so much fun to stamp an image, die cut it and you're done!
The stamping was completed with Simon Says Stamp's Pawsitively Saturated Inks. The flowers were stamped in tones of pinks and peach, Peony, Rose and Grapefruit. I used a stamping platform so I could stamp each flower twice resulting in a smooth, solid impression. The centres of the flowers were stamped in black. All of the foliage was stamped with a dusky blue, Twilight. The images were die cut with the coordinating die set.
A panel of Bristol Smooth card stock and black sheet foam measuring 4" by 5 1/4" were cut with a die from Essential Ovals. The panel was ink blended with Twilight on the perimeter and working towards the oval cut out with Morning. Black card stock of the same size was dry embossed with the Tile Mosaic 3D Embossing Folder. The ink blended panel was mounted on the foam and adhered to the embossed panel. This card front was matted on gold mirror card stock and adhered to a black, top folding, A2 sized black card base.
The images were arranged around the top and the right hand side of the oval. The sentiment from Outlined Sentiments, the Small Die of the Month, was cut from black card stock. These sentiments have coordinating shadow dies. The hello shadow was cut from gold mirror card stock. The set includes some floral and leaf dies which were also cut from the same foil card stock. The card was embellished with gold foil pearls.
