Spellbinders’ Clear Stamp & Die of the Month for December

Hello everyone! Spellbinders Clear Stamp & Die of the month, My Forever Person, is absolutely beautiful! I have featured the main images from this stamp set on two cards and a tag for a pretty Valentine project.

FLORAL HEART

  • Ivory card stock was cut to 4 1/4". Y 5 1/2" and mounted on an A2, top folding card base.

  • The floral heart was stamped on ivory card stock with Versamark ink and embossed in gold. The flowers and leaves were Copic coloured. The heart and foam were cut with the coordinating die and stacked.

  • Using the Pocket Full of Love die set, the pocket die was cut from ivory card stock. The two layers for the pocket were cut from two shades of pink card stock. The smallest layer was embossed with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder and the embossing highlighted with wax metallic lustre. The wax was applied with a finger on the high points. The two layers were adhered to the pocket and the three flaps on the pocket were creased. The pocket was adhered by the flaps to the card base.

  • The foam mounted heart was adhered to the centre of the pocket.

  • To create the insert, Arched A2 & Slimline Card Creator was used. The arch die was used to cut ivory cardstock and the arched detail die was used to cut pink card stock. The pink die cut was adhered to the arch and a hole punched in the top. A pink ribbon was looped through. Crystals were adhered to the top of the leafy stem details on the arch. The crystals were attached only to the domed section so that the lowest ones on either side of the arch would act as 'stops' to prevent the insert from going to the bottom of the pocket.

LOVE

  • A pink panel measuring 4" by 5 1/4" was embossed with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder and the embossing highlighted with wax metallic lustre. The wax was applied with a finger on the high points. The panel was adhered to an A2, top folding card base.

  • The filigree from A2 Filigree Marquis was die cut from pink card stock and foam and stacked. It was adhered to the card base in the centre of the card front.

  • LOVE was stamped on pale pink card stock with Versamark ink and embossed in gold. The flowers and leaves were Copic coloured. The letters and foam were cut using the coordinating dies. The letters were stacked and adhered to the filigree.

  • Flowers and leaves were die cut using dies included in the A2 Filigree Marquis from the two shades of pink and mint card stock. They were arranged on diagonal corners of the filigree and embellished with Pink Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

MY FOREVER PERSON

  • Three tags were cut using Create A Decorative Tag from ivory and two shades of pink card stock. The large heart die from the coordinating dies in My Forever Person was used to cut ivory card stock. The heart and tags were embossed with the Fan Motif Embossing Folder and the embossing highlighted with wax metallic lustre. The wax was applied with a finger on the high points.

  • The sentiment heart was stamped on pale pink card stock with Versamark ink and embossed in gold. The lettering, flowers and leaves were Copic coloured. I had my Blender marker on hand to 'erase' any ink that spilled out on the fine lettering! The heart and foam were cut with the coordinating die and stacked.

  • The three tags were stacked and fanned out adhering them at the top keeping the holes aligned. Gold metallic embroidery floss was looped through the hole.

  • The foam mounted heart was adhered to the embossed one. The hearts were attached to the middle of the fanned tags.

  • A pale pink bow was created from the Create A Flutter and Flower Bow die set. The bow was positioned over the tag hole.

  • Flowers and leaves were die cut using Layered Floral Card Creator from the two shades of pink and mint card stock. They were arranged on the bottom corner of the middle tag and embellished with Pink Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
