Spellbinders’ COPPERPLATE ON YOUR WEDDING DAY COLLECTION

Writer: Bonnie CraneBonnie Crane

Hello friends! Master Calligrapher Paul Antonio is back with Spellbinders and his amazing calligraphy designs in the Copperplate On Your Wedding Day Collection. This collection has four sentiments; Sending Love, Always & Forever, On Your Wedding Day and To The Lovely Couple. Today’s card features Copperplate Sending Love and Always & Forever BetterPress Plates. The pretty flowers were created with Gorgeous You Florals die set.

  • All of the cards were created with Colorwheel Cardstock. The Sending Love and Always & Forever sentiments were letter pressed with black ink on the two landscape cards above. These A2 sized panels are from Bellini and Violet cardstock.

  • For each card, a rectangular die was chosen to fit around the sentiment. After the panel was cut, the remaining portion of the border was cut, aligning it to the die cut opening, with the next largest size in the nesting die set. The border portion of the panel was adhered to an a two size black card base first and panel with the sentiment centred in in it.

  • The leaves for the peach card were cut from Cinnamon and the flowers from Coral and Sicily cardstock. Satin Gold Sequins were used in the centres of the flowers and as embellishments. The sequins were finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

  • The leaves for the lilac card were cut from Indigo and the flowers from Orchid, Mulberry and Violet cardstock. Navy blue confetti were used in the centres of the flowers and as in embellishments. The confetti was finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.

  • The plate for the sentiment for the card above was inked with Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar and Dried Marigold. Sending Love was pressed onto a BetterPress panel and cut with a die from the Essential Stylish Ovals.

  • A frame was created with two consecutive dies from the oval die set to cut gold foil cardstock. It was adhered to the oval.

  • The oval panel was adhered to an A2 sized, black card base.

  • The leaves were cut from Rainforest and the flowers from Blush and Tutu cardstock. The centres for the larger flowers were cut from Alabaster. Green pearls were used in the centres of the small flowers.
