Hello friends! Spellbinders', Embossing Folder of the Month, Hexi Snowflake, creates a beautiful wintry background. I have combined it with several elements from the Large Die Of the Month, Snowcapped Holidays, to create this woodland Christmas card.
The July registration window for this club will be available July 6 for current Club Members. New registrations are accepted on the 10th of July. Registrations can be completed until July 27th or while supplies last.
Canson XL Water Colour Paper was embossed with Embossing Folder of the Month, Hexi Snowflake. The panel was painted generously with water and Mijello Mission Gold Water Colours. Olive Green and Yellow Green were applied.
The panel was left to dry until just damp and it was lined up onto the embossing folder and embossed a second time. The panel was left to dry completely.
A white pigment ink pad was rubbed over the high points of the panel.
Several elements from the Large Die Of the Month were die cut and assembled. The wings and tail feathers for the birds were inked with dark blue ink. The branch die was used to cut black foam and the branches were stacked.
The panel and the elements were spattered using a fan brush with Spatter White Opague Water Color.
The sentiment from Comfort & Joy Sentiments Hot Foil Plates was foiled in gold on olive green card stock. it was adhered to the bottom of the panel.
The branches were adhered to the panel and the excess trimmed off before the panel was mounted on an A2 black card base
The remainder of the elements were arranged and adhered with a combination of foam squares and liquid adhesive.
Snow drifts were added with Nuvo Stone Drops Chalk White.
