Spellbinders’ Happy Hour Collection featuring Olive Martinis

Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Happy Hour Collection is so much fun! My first card features Olive Martinis … hold the olives and hold the martini! I have always wanted to try a Peach Bellini! Not sure how they taste but they look so pretty. In my book, that is all that matters! My fancy drink is sitting on a background of Classy Glasses … so want to meet me for a cocktail?!

  • A BetterPress Porcelain A2 Panel was randomly ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Pick Raspberry and Dried Marigold.

  • The panel was pressed with Versamark Ink using the BetterPress System. The ink was applied sporadically to create a softened background then heat embossed in white.

  • The dies used in this card from the Olive Martinis were cut from white card stock.

  • The martini glass was was inked with Tumbled Glass and mounted on a foam die cut. The ‘Bellini’ was inked with Spun Sugar and the foam on top was created with Nuvo Stone Drops Chalk White.

  • The pick was inked with Antique Linen as was the fruit with some added Picked Raspberry. The ribbon was done up in the two pink tones.

  • The sentiment from Cheers Sentiments Press Plate & Die was stacked on a foam die cut. The foam was trimmed off where the sentiment overlapped the stem of the glass.

  • The foliage and blossoms were inked with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry.

  • The glass was coated with Crystal Glaze.

  • The card was embellished with coral and pink confetti finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
