Hello everyone! I have another card with Spellbinders' Postage Edge Slimlines die set featuring the sweet and adorable die set, Let It Snowman A2 Cardfront. The Postage Edge Slimlines die set comes with six dies; three rectangles with dot details to layer on three with the postage edging. This feminine Christmas card has been done up in shades of pink ... PRETTY IN PINK!
The largest die from Postage Edge Slimlines was cut from a soft pink card stock and adhered to a card base measuring 3 3/4" x 8 3/4".
The second largest die, the layering die, was cut from white card stock and embossed with Scattered Christmas before being adhered to the postage edged rectangle.
All of the elements from this card are from the Let It Snowman A2 Cardfront die set. The snowman was cut from foam and light pink card stock. The hat was cut from another shade of pink and adhered to the snowman's head.
The negative die cuts on the snowflake on the snowman's belly were popped out. The snowman was stacked on the foam die cut. White glitter card stock was used to cut the scarf and the negative snowflake details which were inlaid in the snow flake. The pink carrot nose was adhered.
All the small dot die cuts for the mouth, eyes and radiating around the snow flake were left in place and any that came out during the die cutting were popped back in. These dots will be highlighted with Nuvo Drops and will dimple if not applied to a flat surface.
The banner sentiment is made up of two die cuts; an outline and a negative cut sentiment. The outline die was used to cut white glitter card stock and foam. The sentiment die was centred in the outline die, held in place with low tack and used to cut pink card stock. The layers were stacked and it was adhered to the bottom of the card with the snowman attached above it.
The top of the decorative arch die and snow flakes were cut from both foam and pink glitter card stock and adhered to the top of the card.
The nose and eyes were highlighted with dots of black Nuvo Drops and white Nuvo Drops add a fun pattern to the top hat.
The card was embellished with Pink Opalescent Sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
