It's the first of the month and I love Spellbinders' Die of the Month! Gorgeous! The set consists of a large base die and several layering detail dies. This die set is super easy to work with! I used two of the base dies to create a 5" by 7" card.
The base die was cut two times from green card stock and black sheet foam and stacked.
The palette was kept very simple; ivory, soft and dark pink and gold glitter card stock was used to cut the flowers and leaves.
A panel of black card stock was embossed wth Scattered Fall Embossing Folder and trimmed to 4 3/4" by 6 3/4".
The embossed panel was adhered to an ivory matted, black card stock, 5" by 7" card base.
The foam backed base die cuts were adhered on diagonal corners of the card base. Gold glitter cardstock flowers were slipped under the base, offset, where the the flowers would be adhered to the base die cut.
Bell flowers and leaves were added directly to the card front to round out this floral design.
Using a water brush pen, Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness was painted on the leaves to create subtle shadows.
The flowers were assembled. The flowers, leaves and berries were adhered to the base.
The sentiment is from Outlined Sentiments . The shadow die cut was mounted on foam.
Nuvo Crystal Drops Buttermilk was used to accent the berries and some leaves. Black Nuvo Drops were used in the flower centres.
Pink Opalescent sequins finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew embellish the card.
