GIFT COLLECTION

PRESENT TOPPER

GLIMMER FERNS .... clean & simple

  • Glimmer Ferns was foiled in Aura Glimmer Hot Foil on pink card stock. The Aura Hot Foil had been used to foil the positive design of the ferns for another project. I was planning to reuse the foil for the negative image so made sure the foil was cut to fit an A2 sized panel.

  • Using a Solid Rectangle Foiling Plate on the Hot Foil System, the shiny side of the foil with the negative design faced down on the rectangle plate and the pink card stock was placed on top. Because of the large surface area being foiled, in addition to the foil plate and shim, I used a sheet of copy paper folded in half. I got a beautiful result!

  • The panel was trimmed to 4" by 5 1/4" and mounted on a pink matted, A2 sized card base.

  • The foiled sentiments from Elegant Occasion Sentiments Glorious Hot Foil Classic Plates were also foiled on pink card stock and both the sentiment and foam were cut with the accompanying die. They were were stacked and adhered to the card.

  • The card was embellished with Aura Opalescent Sequins topped with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
