Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Sealed 3D Botanical Collection is gorgeous. The ‘emboss & cut’ folders are really awesome … just one roll through the die cutter.! The Mushrooms From Me To You has a rustic feel and creates three images, one suitable for an A2 sized card, one for a notecard and finally a gift tag.
Bristol Smooth Card Stock was used to ‘emboss & cut’ the three images in Mushrooms From Me To You. I found it easiest to do one image at a time otherwise it was difficult to roll the embossing folder through my die cutter.
The images were coloured in earth tones using ZigReal Brush Markers. I worked with Light Brown, Beige, Pale Dawn Grey, Mid Green, Olive Green, Yellow and Wine Red.
The panels were spattered with black water colour paint using a fan brush.
The card images were adhered to panels cuts from Kraft card stock using a die from the Scallop Labels & Tag nesting die set. These panels coordinate with Mushrooms From Me To You 3D Emboss & Cut Folder but would be awesome for other projects as well.
The card above is A2 sized. The card front was adhered to a black card base 4 1/4” by 5 1/2” .
The sentiment from Everyday Sentiments was cut from both black cardstock and foam, stacked and adhered to the card.
The midsized image on the card above was adhered to a black card base measuring 3 1/2” by 4 1/2” perfect for notecard envelopes.
The HELLO sentiment is also from Everyday Sentiments and cut from both black cardstock and foam, stacked and adhered to the card.
This sweet gift tag is ready to colour and pop a tie on! The sentiment is embossed and was highlighted with a gold gel pen.
