Hello friends! There are quite a number of new products from Spellbinders that were used in these two cards! The Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe Collection is gorgeous with a wide variety of products perfect for cardmakers and scrapbookers alike. I love the Flower Cart Die Set, and the backgrounds for both cards were created with the Stitch & Dots Scallop Borders Die Set using the new Centreline Measuring Tape for straight, evenly spaced borders. The florals and spattered background for the blue and teal card were done with the shimmery beauty of the Yasutomo Water Colour Mixing Set. Lots of great new products to check out!

  • The scalloped borders from the Stitch & Dots Scallop Borders Die Set Were used to create the backgrounds for both cards. For the cream coloured card, the border die was used in conjunction with the dot insert. Eleven borders were cut for each card.

  • Centreline Measuring Tape was used to position the scallops straight and evenly spaced out on the background panels. This tape is repositionable and in 6 inch increments. Check out my video to see how I used it!

  • The Flower Cart Die Set was used to cut a variety of pastel shades. The flower cart is easily assembled and was adhered to foam die cuts to give it dimension on the background.

  • For the other card, the flower and leaves from the Vivid Blooms were cut from watercolour paper. The Yasutomo Water Colour Mixing Set is made up of three pearlescent paints; gold, white, and indigo. The flower was painted, assembled and mounted on the card front.

  • The panel was then spattered with the gold paint included in this colour mixing set.

  • The French Everyday Sentiments Die Set has six words to create a variety of sentiments. The set includes both the script and shadow dies. The sentiment for the blue -teal card was mounted on foam die cuts using the shadow dies.

  • The cards were embellished with confetti; navy for one card and cream for the other. The confetti was finished off with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew.
