Hello friends! Spellbinders’ Die of the Month, Step Into Spring, is sweet and whimsical! Really who wouldn’t rather be walking through a garden or field of flowers than snow! Don’t get me wrong, I love snow but there comes a point in the Winter that I long for Spring… and friends, I’m there! It was a joy to select my Colorwheel Cardstock colours with ease using the handy reference tool created with Color Swatch Wheel die set. Now to get the card stock clearly identified using the Color Swatch Petal! I love organizing!!!

All of the elements from Small Die of the Month were cut from ColorWheel Cardstock. Five purple tones were chosen to create the flower sets; Violet, Lilac, Mulberry, Orchid and Lavender.
The flower centres were cut from Tuscany cardstock.
Two shades of green were used for the stems and leaves; Peridot and Rainforest.
For the shoes, the soles were cut from Black and the uppers from Violet. The buckles and bows were cut from gold glitter card stock.
The largest frame and rectangular dies from the Stitching Die of the Month were used to cut Peridot cardstock. The frame was adhered to a black, A2 sized card base.
The shoes and legs were assembled and mounted onto the rectangular panel with foam tape. The portion of the legs overhanging the panel were trimmed off, and the panel was mounted onto white sheet foam before adhering it to the frame.
The sentiment from Vivid Script Sentiments was cut from gold foil, cardstock and adhered to the tops of the feet.
The flowers were arranged around the shoes and legs
Dew drops were added with clear, smooth crystals.
