Hello friends! Spellbinder's Small Die of the Month, Wise Owl, is so sweet! So many adorable details ... and those spectacles! This book-loving critter is sure to put a smile on anyone's face!

The main owl and wing dies were used to cut Kraft card stock. The detail die cut on the right side of head was cut from cream card stock. The scarf and cheeks are in a soft pink with the striping on the scarf and the background for the eyes in cream. The spectacles were cut from gold foil card stock.
Distress Oxide Walnut Stain and white pigment ink were applied with detail blending brushes to add depth.
The owl is easily assembled. There are score lines to guide the placement of any layered die cuts.
The owl was adhered to a black foam die cut.
The envelope was cut from cream cardstock and the seal from black card stock and gold foil. The pink and gold book is a sweet landing place for the owl!
Two consecutive dies from Essential Stylish Ovals were used to cut cream and black card stock. The smaller die was also used to cut black sheet foam.
The cream oval and an A2 sized panel of cream card stock were embossed with Classic Backdrop, the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. The embossed oval was adhered to the foam one and then centred on the black card stock oval.
The embossed panel was adhered to an A2 sized card base.
The sentiment, from the Glimmer of the Month, was done up with Aura Glimmer Hot Foil using the
The stacked sentiment was adhered to the bottom of the card and the oval card front mounted above it.
