Spellbinders’ Yana’s Daisies Collection

Hello friends! We are finally seeing warm weather, the snow is quickly melting, and everybody I know is looking forward to getting into the garden! Spellbinders’ Yana’s Daisies Collection is the perfect springtime collection! My first card features Daisy Shower Press Plate . This is a gorgeous negative design background. Although it is a press plate intended for letterpressing, as you can see with my card, it foils beautifully. I love it when you get double duty out of a product! The plate can also be purchased with a coordinating stencil set; Daisy Shower Press Plate & Stencil Bundle.
Daisy Shower Press Plate was foiled with Gold Hot Foil on Blush cardstock using the Glimmer Hot Foil System. The panel was trimmed to 4” x 5 1/4”.
The daisies were Copic coloured; RV000, 02, YR30, 31 & G20, 43.
The panel was spattered, using a fan brush, with slightly watered down Splatter White Opaque Watercolour.
The panel was mounted on white sheet foam and adhered to an A2 sized card base that had been covered with Blush cardstock.
The sentiment from the Fresh Picked Sentiments was cut from both Blush cardstock and sheet foam. The sentiment was stacked and adhered to the lower third of the card.
